Set in beautiful National Trust woodland near Derwent Water, this is a very popular site, so it’s best to book well in advance. The site itself is easy to find but the narrow approach is not for the
faint-hearted and, if yours is a large outfit, it may be advisable to discuss access with the site before you commit to a visit. The hillside location also means that some pitches may need levelling blocks.
Bread, milk, eggs, local produce such as bacon and sausages together with a range of maps and guides are sold in the site shop.
