Highlands End sits on a hilltop 550 yards from the West Dorset Heritage Coastline. The two shower buildings are in excellent condition, as are the leisure facilities, which include an indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, steam room and sunbeds (all of which can be used at an extra charge).
The site stretches almost to the cliffs, and the coastal path leads to
a pretty shingle beach. Walking eastward brings you to the attractive little harbour of West Bay, with its selection of restaurants and pubs. Sea fishing and boat hire are available here. About two miles inland lies the historic market town of Bridport, but the site's own licensed bar and restaurant mean you don't have to go far for a drink or a meal out.
