Getting there
Choose from a range of options when driving from the South of England. In the North York Moors, Scarborough serves as something of a hub, so using this as you base it's not too challenging to find your way around the area. From the South, leave the A1 east on the A64 and follow this around the southern side of York, all the way into Scarborough.
Coming from the North or from Scotland, it's best to come across from the A1(M) just north of Scotch Corner and travel south of Middlesbrough, to pick up the A171 through Whitby.

Scarborough is well served with indoor attractions and one of the best
