This site places its emphasis on family fun, with a whole range of activities on offer for kids and grown-ups alike. There’s an indoor pool with a water slide that leads into a shallow paddling area for younger children, as well as a heated outdoor pool. You certainly won’t run short of things to do, but there is an extra cost for using many of the facilities, including bowling, pool, table tennis and tennis. The crazy golf proves particularly popular. The clubhouse provides a range of entertainment, including bingo, and kids can join the Sammy Seahorse Club. This means parents can relax and do their own thing, safe in the knowledge that their little ones are having fun and are being looked after.
This is a very well cared for site: the toilet buildings, although a little dated, are kept in excellent condition. All the pitches are well tended and the grass around them is mown regularly. The restaurant has a pub-style menu and serves up generous portions at reasonable prices.
Bear in mind that this site is geared up to keeping kids
entertained from morning ‘til night. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, you should go elsewhere. You should also note that pets
are not permitted.
