Open All year
This large and pristine site is divided up by rows of young trees and hedges. This creates small, intimate areas, each with its own shape and character. The pitches themselves are all set on gravel hardstanding. All are completely level, and they are all separated by areas of carefully tended grass. Pitch sizes vary: many are exceptionally spacious, but you will find some that are so small that you will need to park your car across the front of your pitch.
The access road that runs around the site is made from
smooth Tarmac, the sanitary facilities are all first-rate, and the
dog-walk is extensive enough to give even the most energetic of canines a thorough workout. Leisure facilities include boules
and mini-golf, although if you are looking for entertainment off-site, there are plenty of pubs, cafés, shops and restaurants in the nearby town of Moreton-on-Marsh. And you shouldn’t miss the bustling Tuesday market: it’s just a ten-minute walk from the site, and you won’t have any of the parking worries that
other shoppers experience.
We suggest that you choose a pitch as far from the main road as possible, so you don’t have to put up with any traffic noise. Bear in mind that one of the sanitary buildings is being refurbished and expanded for 2006, which means that half of the site will be closed between November 2005 and March 2006.
